The excursion consists of visiting the Grey Glacier by sailing across the waters of the lake of the same name, and is a must-see if you are in Torres del Paine.
The excursion begins with check-in at Hotel Grey located in Torres del Paine National Park, which must be done 1 hour before departure. You will then take a 30 to 45-minute walk to the boarding area through the Grey Beach area.
You will sail in a comfortable and modern boat to the Grey Glacier, where you will have spectacular views of radiant blue ice, icebergs floating in the gray water, feel the Patagonian wind, and enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience. In addition to enjoying views of the glacier, you will see Cerro Paine Grande, the Paine Massif, forests on the edge of the lake, stratified rock hills, and snow-capped peaks that reach the clouds. If you are lucky, you will be able to see and hear pieces of ice breaking off the glacier and falling into the water. During the trip, you can choose a snack between pisco sour, a drink, or juice. The excursion ends at the same starting point, Hotel Grey.
