Get to know the main attractions of San Pedro de Atacama, walk through its charming streets, and enjoy its food and unique atmosphere.
Day 1: Transfer from Calama Airport to San Pedro de Atacama and Moon Valley.
Day 2: Altiplanic Lagoons and Red Stones.
Day 3: Tatio Geyser and Machuca.
Day 4: Transfer from San Pedro de Atacama to Calama Airport.
Arrival in Calama and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama.
The Moon Valley is one of the most important points of the Cordillera de la Sal area. We will visit the main dune, the amphitheater, the three Marias, and the Coyote’s stone viewpoint (Kari). Finally, we wait for the sunset in front of the Andes Mountains with a cocktail to enjoy.

Begin your journey heading south from San Pedro de Atacama towards the Paso Sico border crossing. Our first stop will be to validate entrance fees for the parks and enjoy breakfast. We will then proceed to Red Stones (Piedras Rojas), where you will embark on a trail leading to the closest viewpoint of the Salar de Aguas Calientes III. Nestled at the base of the striking Piedras Rojas, this spot offers a stunning and picturesque landscape. Before reaching our next destination, we will pause for lunch, taking in the sweeping views of the Altiplano.
Next, we will visit the Altiplanic Lagoons, where you can explore two well-marked trails to witness the beauty of the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons. Our journey will also include a stop at the Tropic of Capricorn, where we will take a brief break to capture photos and share insights about this significant parallel in the southern hemisphere.

El Tatio is located 1.5 hours from San Pedro de Atacama. We will leave the town at dawn to see the maximum boiling point reached by the more than 80 active geysers found in this place. The largest geothermal field in the southern hemisphere and one of the largest in the world. Afterwards, at the exit of the park, we will stop in front of a wetland where we will be able to appreciate the typical fauna of the area, while we have breakfast. Then we will continue to the Putana wetland, where we will contemplate one of the active volcanoes in the area, the Putana volcano. Finally, we will stop at the Machuca to watch flamingos before returning to town.
