ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival at Grey Refuge

The adventure starts early, when a transfer will pick you up in your hotel and will take you to the Torres del Paine National Park. You will travel through beautiful landscapes until arrive to Hotel Grey, in this place you will check in and take Navigation Grey III, that will take you towards one of the most incredible sectors in the park, Grey Sector. During your stay you will have the opportunity to visit de famous Handing Bridges.

	Included – Box lunch and dinner.

OPTIONAL:

For an unforgettable view of the Grey Glacier, set off for an extra 3 – 4 extra hours (round trip) past the refuge in the direction of the famous hanging bridges. It is by far the best lookout of the glacier. In addition to contemplating the impressive ice, you can see the depth of the ravines formed by the rivers and waterfalls that come from the Olguín Range.

Day 2: Hike to Paine Grande Refuge

Enjoy breakfast in the dining room of Grey refuge and do not forget to request your box lunch! In case you did not have the chance to visit the hanging bridges the day before, you can leave very early in the morning and walk to the first or second bridge, to quickly return and begin the walk to the Paine Grande refuge. A few minutes after starting to walk you will begin to marvel at the spectacular landscapes of Campos de Hielo Sur and the icebergs of Lake Grey. The walk will be ascending through a mountainous forest until reaching the sometimes very windy Gray Glacier viewpoint. The walk continues until you reach Laguna Los Patos, where you begin the descent through a narrow and windy valley that takes you directly to the Paine Grande refuge. Enjoy dinner at the refuge.

Day 3: Hike to the French Valley

Today’s hike will be round trip, starting and finishing at Paine Grande, so we recommend to begin early! After breakfast, ask for your box lunch and get ready for this last adventure before returning to Puerto Natales.

Travel to the heart of the park bordering the blue waters of the Skottsberg lake.

After approximately 2.5 hours of walking, you will arrive to the Italiano camp (park rangers), where you will begin your journey to the French Valley.
Climb through a massive boulder field and then continue through the forest until you reach the French plateau. Here, you will be rewarded with incredible views of Los Cuernos (the Horns), turquoise glacial lagoons and amazing hanging glaciers that fall down the east side of Paine Grande Mountain (3.050 m.a.s.l.m). If you are lucky, you will hear the loud sound of the glacier and the falling water, as well as it is very common to witness avalanches. Take some photos, enjoy your box lunch and the well-deserved rest. Descend the same path back to the Italiano camp and then to Paine Grande.

Day 4: Hike Las Carretas Path– Return to Puerto Natales

Enjoy breakfast in the dining room of Refugio Paine Grande and don’t forget to request your box lunch. Today you can tour the surroundings of the place and walk a little, and then begin your return hike, along Las Carretas path. And the end of the path, a private transfer will be waiting for you in the administration sector to head towards Puerto Natales.

• We offer luggage custody at our office in Puerto Natales from Monday to Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. (office hours). Outside office hours service has an additional charge.
