ITINERÁRIO

If you enjoy trekking and nature, you must experience this journey that will take you to one
of the best viewpoints of the Torres del Paine

Our trip will begin at 7:00 a.m. in winter from Puerto Natales. We will travel by vehicle to the park’s northern sector, arriving at the access point known as Laguna Amarga. Here, we will register with our entrance tickets and then continue to the starting point of the activity located in the Cerro Paine Reserve. At this point, we will prepare our gear and receive prior instructions from the guide in charge of the group. Our guide will explain the proper use of trekking poles and the installation of crampons and gaiters if necessary. These last items are considered for the winter season in case of snow and ice on the route. The first hour and 30 minutes will be a constant ascent, with some areas of gentler slopes and low vegetation, leading us to the “Paso de los Vientos.” From here, we will begin a descent of approximately 30 minutes to the Refugio Chileno for a short break. The trail continues for 1 hour through lenga forests parallel to the Ascencio River, which we will cross at several points, and which will accompany us for much of the journey. The last section has a 300-meter incline and a challenging terrain with rocks and some forest in the first 25 minutes. The final stretch is an exposed trail without vegetation, over the loose ground, with views towards the final section of the valley gaining height quickly. Once we reach our goal, facing the imposing towers, we will take the necessary time to eat, take photos, and contemplate. The descent is made along the same path, and at the end of the excursion, passengers will be taken back to Puerto Natales, dropping them off at their respective accommodations
