ITINERARY

Day 1: Puerto Natales – Factoría Hostel

Arrival in Puerto Natales and briefing. Accommodation in Factoría Hostel or similar.

OPTIONAL:
Transfer from the bus terminal in Puerto Natales to your accommodation.

Day 2: Puerto Natales – Panoramic Full day in Torres del Paine

After a delicious breakfast at Factoría hostel, get ready for a day of jaw-dropping Patagonian landscapes! We will pick you up at 8:00 am at the Front Desk to begin the tour with a visit to the impressive Milodón’s Cave. This Natural Monument is formed by 3 caverns and a rocky conglomerate named Devil’s Chair. We will make an easy and short walk into the first cave.

Then, we will continue to Torres del Paine National Park. Have your camera ready for a day of icebergs, turquoise color lakes, irregular mountains and a large variety of fauna! We will walk along the extensive beach of Grey lake, visit the beautiful “Salto Grande” waterfall and enjoy the amazing views of Paine’s Horns and the majestic Paine Massif. Later, we will go to the east of the park to finish at “Cascada Paine”. From here, we will begin your trip back to Puerto Natales.

Day 3: Puerto Natales – Full Day Base Torres

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Factoría hostel before your 7:00 am pick up to go straight to Torres del Paine National Park, where we will arrive at the Cerro Paine Reserve, departure point of the trail and the beginning of our adventure.
We will walk towards the Ascencio Valley as it snakes through windswept hills and gigantic forests. During the last ascent, we will traverse through an immense boulder field until we reach the Chileno refuge, on the opposite bank of the Ascencio River, in the shade of a lenga forest, with a moderate slope, crossing several slopes that fall from Almirante Nieto mount, which is part of the Paine Massif.
After about an hour and 10 minutes from the Chileno campsite, at 900 m.a.s.l.m., we will reach the foot of the moraine that gives access to the viewpoint. From this point, the trail increases its slope. After about half an hour from the sign, at 700 m.a.s.l.m., we will reach the east end of the lagoon, from where you have a wonderful view of the three towers (Central, Monzino and Dagostini) and the Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills. After resting and having lunch in this extraordinary and unique scenic context on the planet, we will begin our return along he same path until we reach the starting point, to return to Puerto Natales.

Day 4: Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Factoría hostel on your last morning in Puerto Natales.

OPTIONAL:
Transfer from the hostel to the Puerto Natales bus termina.

RESTRICTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

We recommend to arrive in flights direct to Puerto Natales. If it is not possible, it is recommended to take flights that arrive in the morning to Punta Arenas and that depart in the evening.
These treks are not recommended for children under the age of 14.

DEPARTURES

From May to September: Every day, except Fridays, due to Full Day Base of Towers only operates Monday, Wednesday and Friday, if the program begins on Fridays, the excursion does not operate on Saturdays or Sundays.

PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS

All excursions are subject to weather conditions. In case of any cancellation of activities, alternatives will be provided.
Excursions order might vary according on the arrival day due the minimum of passengers to make the hike to the Base of the Towers.

If you prefer a soft experience, and you want change trek Base of the Towers for a softer activity, we have the following options with an additional cost:

Navigation Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers: Enjoy a day of navigation through the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, with lunch included.
OPTION 2:
Estancia Patagonica (Ranch) Experience: Have fun in a typical Patagonian Estancia with typical lunch included (If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking.)
OPTION 3:
Navigation Grey III: In this excursion you will visit Grey Glacier, sailing through Lake Grey, it is a highlight if you are in Torres del Paine.
