ICE TREKKING GLACIAR GREY

DESCRIPTION

Get ready to feel the excitement of boarding a Zodiac to reach Nunatak Island and access the glacier where you can literally experience walking on the ice of Patagonia.

This excursion begins at the base, a 10-minute walk from the Gray Shelter with a frequency of 2 times a day. (08:00 am and 2:30 pm). After a short safety briefing, you will travel by zodiac through Gray Lake to approach Nunatak Island and begin a walk of around 1 hour towards the Glacier. Upon arrival the guide will help you adjust the ice equipment correctly and once you are ready you can begin the incredible ice walking adventure. It will be about 2.5 hours on the Gray Glacier, observing the crevasses, rivers, lagoons, tunnels and ice caves!

Duration: approximately 5 hours.
