Today begins your adventure to the navel of the world!
Upon arrival you will be greeted with flower necklaces, typical of the island’s culture, and then you will be taken to your hotel. You will have the afternoon free to walk around the island or do whatever you prefer.

You will leave early from the hotel to start on the south coast of the island where you can see the Ahu destroyed after the war a few centuries ago. Then you will continue to Ahu Akahanga, legend has it that next to this place is the tomb of the famous King Hotu Matua, a fundamental character in the history of the island.
Your experience continues at one of the most important sites for the Rapa Nui culture, the Rano Raraku quarry, better known as the Moai factory where you will observe them in different moments of their construction, these giant and mysterious statues that have given Easter Island worldwide fame.
During the afternoon you will continue learning about the history and culture of Rapa Nui making a stop at the famous Ahu of 15 moais, Ahu Tongariki famous for its postcards at sunrise.
Finally you will arrive at Anakena beach, here you can appreciate the warm waters of the Pacific and relax on the beach with pink sand under palm trees.

Today you will have an incredible view of the entire island, its coasts, volcanoes and the town of Hanga Roa by climbing the extinct volcano Rano Kau, from here you will observe the huge green crater of Rano Kau with its lagoon. You will visit the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the ceremony and competition of the Birdman – Tangata Manu took place. You will arrive at the ceremonial zone of Vinapu, where you will find the wall of the Ahu Tahira that reminds us of the Incas of Peru, which has suggested controversial theories.
Finally, and continuing with the mystery of this magical culture, you will visit one of the most interesting caves of the island, its location, the proximity to the island and its cave paintings that we will be able to appreciate, make that several legends are told about it.

Tahai is one of the most interesting places on the island, this ceremonial complex combines archaeological remains of great importance with a beautiful scenic setting facing the Pacific Ocean, also in this place is the only Moai with eyes. You will also be able to see the remains of a boat house, a stone henhouse and a wharf completely built with stones.
Then you will visit the Ahu Akivi, according to legend these 7 statues represent the first explorers who arrived to Rapa Nui, sent by King Hotu Matua.
Finally you will visit the Puna Pau volcano quarry, this will help you to understand how the big red cylinders that adorn some of the Moai were made.
