The Eberhard Fjord is a place with many stories and myths, here are located Puerto Prat and Puerto Consuelo. Kayaking in these waters is very quiet and protected.
You will leave Puerto Natales and after 30 minutes, you will arrive to Puerto Prat, where you will equip yourself with the appropriate clothes and you will have an instructive safety talk to begin kayaking.
During the sailing you can watch many birds such as black neck swans, coscorobas swans, taguas, ducks and flamingos. On the way back we stop to do a small trekking to enjoy a wonderful view of Torres del Paine and other surrounding mountains.
You will continue sailing until reaching Puerto Prat, in this place you will visit an Old House of settlers, who will wait for you to share a hot drink and some delicious “sopaipillas” with homemade jams, before returning to Puerto Natales.
We invite you to enjoy this exciting outdoor sport in one of the most incredible places called Cerro Benitez – Laguna Sofia, just 30 minutes driving from Puerto Natales.
The walls of conglomerate rock are amazing and enjoyable because there are routes for all levels climbers. We start climbing the easier routes to warm up and then we try more routes incresing the difficulty. We stop for a snack break and we continue climbing as our skills allow it. We provide all the gear and certified climbing guides.
We take you to discover and admire one of the largest flying birds on the planet, with a wingspan of 3 meters, the Condor of the Patagonian Andes shows us its greatness on the slopes and cliffs of Laguna Sofía. Leaving from Puerto Natales, we head towards the area of Laguna Sofía, about thirty minutes away, to begin the trek that will take us along a wonderful path to the conglomerate rock walls where the incredible condors live. During this journey we will be able to observe different small birds, eagles and condors, as well as a diversity of flora depending on the season. The view from the summit is truly impressive as you can see the fjords and mountains near Laguna Sofía and its surroundings. It’s time to take a break for our snack in a prehistoric cave.
After enjoying this beautiful place and its fauna, we return to the starting point to return to Puerto Natales.
