Come and meet one of the largest penguin colonies in Chile and sail through the Strait of Magellan, a place where, in the past, many European navigators have endured adventures and hardships to reach a legendary land.
On the way our guide will give the tour information in English and Spanish. After an hour and a half of navigation through the Strait of Magellan, we will arrive at the island’s dock to disembark and visit the Penguin Colony for approximately 1 hour.
Los Pingüinos Natural Monument is located in the Region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, 35 kilometers northeast of Punta Arenas. The unit stands out for the protection of fauna species such as the Magellanic penguin, Dominican gull, black-browed albatross and imperial cormorant. After the tour of the island, we embark to begin the return trip to the Punta Arenas pier.
