We will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time and head to the dock to board our exclusive floating refuge, Explorador Patagonia II—a unique vessel that combines the comfort and charm of a mountain lodge with the freedom to explore remote corners of thePatagonian fjords.
We will navigate for about three hours until we reach the scenic Angosta Kirke, known for their striking landscapes and abundant marine life—keep your eyes open for sea lions, dolphins, and seabirds. The journey continues for another two hours to reach the impressive Zamudio Glacier, nestled deep within the Mountains Fjord.
After a short 15-minute cruise, we will switch to a fast boat and disembark for the Paso del Cóndor trek. This 2.5-hour hike takes us through breathtaking landscapes until we reach Huiros Bay, where the fast boat will pick us up again to return to the vessel. Back onboard,we continue sailing through the fjord to admire the stunning Kiara, Alsina, and Paredes glaciers from the deck.
We will anchor in a calm, secluded area for the night. Onboard, you can unwind with a hotshower, a well-deserved pisco sour, and a hearty home-style dinner.
After breakfast, we take a short ride by fast boat to reach Bernal Glacier, followed by a two-hour hike to get as close as possible to its impressive ice face. Along the way, you will witness the glacier’s retreat and the fascinating natural recovery of the terrain, now dotted with moraines, erratic boulders, and new vegetation.
Following our hike, we sail for about three hours to the Santa María Channel, where we will be greeted by the striking La Paz peaks—towering rock formations that rise dramatically over the surrounding fjords and can be seen from multiple points across the region. Our return journey to Puerto Natales takes us through the Angostura White, a peaceful channel rich in wildlife and scenic beauty. We are expected to arrive at Kochifas Pier around 6:00PM.
Upon arrival, you will spend your final night in Puerto Natales—a perfect opportunity to relaxand reflect on the extraordinary experiences of the past few days.
