Puerto Natales is located on the shores of the Señoret Channel, between the Almirante Montt Gulf and the Última Esperanza Sound, and is the capital of the province of the same name (Última Esperanza). A name that has its origin in the first explorations carried out by the navigator Juan Ladrillero during his incessant search for a route to the Strait of Magellan. During the excursion you will learn about the ancient aborigines who populated the extensive territories as well as relevant background about the first explorations of the area that drove the settlement in the province.
