Torres del Paine National Park closure
Dear visitors,
Along with our greetings and attending to the information given from the health authority regarding the entry into Phase 4 of the Coronavirus spread (COVID-19), the National Forest Corporation, CONAF, has decided as a preventive measure to close the Torres del Paine National Park (among others) immediately;
“Suspension until further notice of the entry of national and foreign visitors to the Vicente Pérez Rosales, Torres del Paine, Conguillio, Puyehue, Laguna del Laja and Radal Siete Tazas National Parks. Los Flamencos and Laguna Torca Reserves and Cueva del Milodón, La Portada, Cerro Ñielol and Los Pingüinos Natural Monuments. The Rangers of these units must continue with their activities, wheter internal management, patrols or monitoring. The Corporation will permanently evaluate the closure of more units, according to the country situation.”
Given the information above as today the entrance to the park is not allowed, we ask our visitors to please contact us at ventas@vertice.travel for questions and steps to follow.
