ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival at Torres del Paine National Park – Grey Refuge

After breakfast at the hotel, you should request your box lunch. The adventure begins early when the transfer picks you up, heading towards Torres del Paine National Park. You will travel through beautiful landscapes until you reach the Grey Hotel, where you will check in and take the Grey III Navigation, which will take you to one of the most incredible sectors of the Torres del Paine National Park, the Grey sector. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to walk on the Grey glacier, go kayaking towards the glacier, and visit the famous Hanging Bridges.

Day 2: Ice trek glaciar Grey

Get ready to feel the thrill of boarding a zodiac to reach Nunatak Island and access the glacier, where you can experience walking, literally, on the Patagonian ice.

This excursion starts at the base 10 minutes walk from the Grey refuge, with a frequency of 2 times a day (8:00 am, 14:30 hrs).
After a short safety briefing you will be transferred by zodiac on Grey Lake to approach Nunatak Island and begin a 1 hour walk to the glacier. Upon arrival, the guide will help you adjust the ice equipment correctly and once you are ready you can begin the incredible ice walking adventure. It will be about 2.5 hours on the Grey Glacier, observing crevasses, rivers, lagoons, tunnels and ice caves.

Day 3: Kayak a glaciar Grey

Half day excursion, where you will enjoy paddling through ice floes while observing the beautiful scenery of the Grey Glacier.

You will depart from Grey beach, next to the Grey refuge to begin your adventure.
First, the guides will give you the necessary kayaking equipment and then you will have a safety talk where you will learn about your kayak, the paddle, the route and the weather conditions.
The kayaking experience will have you paddling close to large floating ice floes, towards the east side of the Grey Glacier and approaching the giant ice walls. While you rest and enjoy this amazing place in all its beauty, the guide will offer a snack and hot drink. Weather permitting, on the way back to the Grey refuge you will pass by the island called Nunatak.

Day 4: Free day in Grey and return to Puerto Natales.

If you didn’t get a chance to visit the hanging bridges, reserve today’s morning and head to the incredible hanging bridges. It is by far the best viewpoint of the glacier. Besides contemplating the impressive ice, you will be able to see the depths of the ravines formed by the rivers and waterfalls that come from the Olguin Range. If you’re lucky, you may even see ice sliding off the glacier into the cold waters of Grey Lake.
After your visit to the bridges, get ready to take the Grey III Navigation to Grey beach where your transport back to Puerto Natales will be waiting.
