Connecting the famous W Trek with the Paine Circuit, Refugio Grey is an essential stop on your hiking adventure in Torres del Paine National Park. Sitting in a peaceful forest backdrop, you are just a few-minute walk away from the gigantic white-blue ice wall of Grey Glacier. With a capacity up to 60
guests in shared mixed dorms with bunk beds, that are divided between simple beds (with mattress cover, pillow and pillow case) and beds with bedding (with mattress cover, sheets, pillow with pillow case and cover). Simple beds are ideal for those who prefer to travel with their sleeping bag, while the beds with bedding are designed for those who prefer to sleep like at home and walk through the park without that extra weight. The dorms are not heated. The corridors and common areas are heated by slow wood burning.

– Los Perros – Grey trail (17 kms / 10,5 hrs / High difficulty, only for those who are doing the Paine Massif Circuit)
– Navigation from Grey hotel (Grey III navigation / 2,5 hrs)

Same sex bathrooms with cold-water sinks, toilets and hot-water showers.

CAMPING+

This campsite has a capacity for 120 campers and is equipped with same sex shared bathrooms, hot-water showers, food service and a designated wind-free area to cook for those who want to prepare their own meals (quincho). Camping gear (set-up tent, mat and sleeping bag) is available to rent for those who want to enjoy the outdoors without carrying any extra weight.

RESTAURANT+

The refuge has a restaurant with a daily fixed menu and a vegetarian alternative. Dinner, breakfast and lunch are available, as well as box lunch (ordering in advance) so you can have lunch at a stop on your trek and take advantage of your lunch outdoors (remember to take your garbage with you!). Also, enjoy our pizzas during the afternoon. We offer a cafeteria service as well during the afternoons. Dinner must be reserved before 03:00 pm.

It’s the ideal place to enjoy the view to Olguín Range and, if you are lucky, to watch condors glide.

MINI MARKET+

You will find everything you need to cook in case you want to cook your own food, including provisions in general, drinks, chocolates, energy bars and cookies, among others. You can also find souvenirs and mountain equipment.

QUINCHO (COOKING AREA)+

For those who prefer to prefer to cook their own meals, we have a designated area for this that is protected from the wind and rain since it is not allowed to cook inside the refuge, tents or outdoors.

ELECTRICITY+

You will find electric outlets (220 V) in the dorms, Front Desk and mini market. At night there is no electricity to save energy.
