Get ready to feel the thrill of boarding a Zodiac to reach Nunatak Island and access the glacier where you can experience literally walking on the Patagonian ice. This excursion starts at the base 10 minutes walk from Refugio Grey with a frequency of 2 times a day (08:00 am and 14:30 pm). After a short safety briefing you will be transferred by zodiac across Grey Lake to approach Nunatak Island and begin a 1 hour hike to the glacier. Upon arrival the guide will help you adjust the ice equipment correctly and once you are ready you can begin the incredible ice walking adventure. It will be about 2.5 hours on the Grey Glacier, observing the crevasses, rivers, lagoons, tunnels and ice caves! Duration: 5 hours approximately.
