Burrowed deep inside of Torres del Paine National Park, Camping Los Perros is found nestled amongst an ocean of parsley-green beech trees. Base camp for the famous John Gardner Pass, this campsite is set up for a relaxing night rest before the challenging hike ahead of you. With a capacity of 100 campers, this campsite is equipped with same-sex shared bathrooms, cold showers, and a designated / wind – safe cooking area. Camping equipment (already-pitched tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad) is available through reservation, for those who want to enjoy the outdoors without carrying any extra weight.

Rates for 2020 – 2021 Season (November 02nd, 2020 – April 30th, 2021)
• Campsite (per person, per night): $6.500 CLP / US$9
• Sleeping bag (per person, per night): $15.000 CLP / US$21
• Tent (maximum 2 people): $20.000 CLP / US$29
• Sleeping pad (per person, per night): $5.000 CLP / US$7

From Refugio/ Camping Dickson: 9km / 5hrs / Moderate difficulty


Same-sex shared bathrooms with sinks, toilets and cold showers.


The camping has a small restaurant that offers a daily close menu that is elaborated in Dickson with a vegetarian option. Dinner, breakfast and box lunch to take away.
The quincho is the designated wind-safe cooking building where campers can cook their own meals. It is not permitted to cook elsewhere.

Meal schedule:
• Breakfast: 5:30 am to 7:00 am
• Box lunch: 5:30 am to 7:00 am

Here you will find everything you need in case you want to cook your own meals, including beverages, cereal bars, cookies, soft drinks, chocolates and other various snacks. The market also sells souvenirs and mountain equipment.

• Note: you can only cook in the designated area (quincho).


• You can find electric outlets at the convenience store (220V). Please check at the reception about functioning times and availability.
• The campsite does not have electricity at night to save energy.


• There is no cell phone-service in all of Torres del Paine National Park. Camping Los Perros does not have Wi-Fi service available for their guests.
