Day 1: Puerto Natales – Factoría hostel
Arrival to Puerto Natales and briefing.
Accommodation in Factoría hostel or similar 3★.

Day 2: Puerto Natales – Panoramic full day in Torres del Paine
After a delicious breakfast at Factoría hostel, get ready for a day of jaw-dropping Patagonian landscapes! We will pick you up at 8:00 am at the Front Desk to begin the tour with a visit to the impressive Milodón’s Cave. This Natural Monument is formed by 3 caverns and a rocky conglomerate named Devil’s Chair. We will make an easy and short walk into the first cave.

Then, we will continue to Torres del Paine National Park. Have your camera ready for a day of icebergs, turquoise color lakes, irregular mountains and a large variety of fauna! We will walk along the extensive beach of Grey lake, visit the beautiful “Salto Grande” waterfall and enjoy the amazing views of Paine’s Horns and the majestic Paine Massif. Later, we will go to the east of the park to finish at “Cascada Paine”. From here, we will begin your trip back to Puerto Natales.

Day 3: Puerto Natales – Full day to the Base of the Towers
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Factoría hostel before your 7:00 am pick up to go straight to Torres del Paine National Park, where we will arrive at the Cerro Paine Reserve, departure point of the trail and the beginning of our adventure.

We will walk towards the Ascencio Valley as it snakes through windswept hills and gigantic forests. During the last ascent, we will traverse through an immense boulder field until we reach the Chileno refuge, on the opposite bank of the Ascencio River, in the shade of a lenga forest, with a moderate slope, crossing several slopes that fall from Almirante Nieto mount, which is part of the Paine Massif.

After about an hour and 10 minutes from the Chileno campsite, at 900 m.a.s.l.m., we will reach the foot of the moraine that gives access to the viewpoint. From this point, the trail increases its slope. After about half an hour from the sign, at 700 m.a.s.l.m., we will reach the east end of the lagoon, from where you have a wonderful view of the three towers (Central, Monzino and Dagostini) and the Peineta and Nido de Cóndores hills. After resting and having lunch in this extraordinary and unique scenic context on the planet, we will begin our return along the same path until we reach the starting point, to return to Puerto Natales.

Day 4: Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Factoría hostel on your last morning in Puerto Natales.

Transfer from the hostel to the Rodoviario bus terminal, in Puerto Natales.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES TO THE BASE OF THE TOWERS HIKE
If you don’t want to make the trek to the Base of the Towers and change it for a softer activity, we have the following options with an additional cost:

OPTION 1
Navigation: enjoy a day of navigation through the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, with lunch included.

Estancia day: have fun in a typical Patagonian Estancia (ranch), with lunch included, and discover the daily life in the ranch and enjoy a horseback ride or a trekking.

• 3 nights of accommodation in Factoría hostel or similar 3★, in a private room with breakfast included.
• Regular excursions with a certified bilingual guide, where you will share with other tourists.
• Entrance tickets to the Milodón’s Cave and Torres del Paine National Park.
• Snack for the panoramic full day in Torres del Paine.
• Box lunch for the Base of The Towers full day.

RESTRICTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• We recommend to arrive in flights direct to Punta Arenas. If it is not possible, it is recommended to take flights that arrive in the morning to Punta Arenas and that departat in the evening.
• These treks are not recommended for children under the age of 14.
• To upgrade to a 4* hotel, there is a special rate between December 25th and January 1st.
